Inspired by Nikki Sixx, this is not really a new approach to photography by any means, just a new approach for me. It's not so easy for me to get out as much as I'd like to keep creating landscape images, so growing bored without shooting, I've decided to start looking closer to home. We'll see where this journey takes us...

I could not believe there was a tip sign in the restroom at a fair...! I couldn't resist going back in with my camera to get a shot of it...

Photography of this nature is a bit different for me. I normally don't alter my images that much, but felt things were getting a little too much the same. I wanted to try a slightly more personally creative imagery. We'll see where this takes me...

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure at one point this toy was considered beautiful by its owner. Now it's just sitting in the basement of a second hand store collecting dust and cobwebs. I had shot a few images of her but decided that something was missing so I used a blur tool to help center attention on her since she isn't so beautiful any more...

I'm not sure of the age of this camera, though I'm pretty sure it's late 60's, early 70's. I've gotta do some research on it. I'll never use it to take pictures with, but I couldn't resist it in the great condition it's in. And it only cost me $5.oo. A great find...
